Man Shot in Beaumont
The shooting occurred at 12:47 p.m. on Cherry Avenue, just north of Oak Valley Parkway.
A man was shot in Beaumont on Monday afternoon.
The shooting occurred at 12:47 p.m. on Cherry Avenue, just north of Oak Valley Parkway.
Officers first responded to a report of a fight but then found that a person had been shot. The police report read that a male suffered "minor bird-shot wounds to his legs," according to Kari Mendoza with the Beaumont Police Department.
Investigators have a lead on who the shooter was, but have not released a name because the investigation is ongoing and an arrest has not been made.
