Man Fatally Injured in Dirtbike Crash on Soboba Indian Reservation

A man was fatally injured in a dirtbike crash Friday on Soboba Indian Reservation land near San Jacinto, according to Cal Fire.

Firefighters were called out at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 2 to the area of the 23900 block of Soboba Road, Melody Hendrickson of Cal Fire-Riverside County said in a statement.
 
The incident was described as "a solo dirtbike collision involving an adult male," Hendrickson said.

Before firefighters arrived someone at the crash scene started CPR on the man, Hendrickson said.

"Firefighter Paramedics continued CPR during transport to an area hospital where the patient was declared dead on arrival," Hendrickson said.

The man's name was not released.

The crash location described by Cal Fire is near Castille Canyon Road and north of Poppet Flats Road.
