Man Displaced in San Jacinto Fire

The Riverside County Fire Department reports one man was displaced in an early morning fire Monday.

A San Jacinto man's home erupted in flames Monday morning, but fire crews prevented it from spreading to any nearby structures, fire officials reported.

The fire broke out around 7:45 a.m. at a mobile home in the 300 block of South State Street, near Cottonwood Ave., according to Jody Hagemann of the Riverside County Fire Department.

Nearly two dozen firefighters were able to contain the blaze within 30 minutes, to a room and its contents, she said.
