A Long Beach woman suspected of being a sex worker in Hemet was out of custody Monday, awaiting a court appearance.
Charity Reed, 32, was arrested Sunday evening on Florida Avenue, according to Hemet police Sgt. Jeff Davis.
She since was formally charged with loitering with intent to commit prostitution and was out on $3,500 bail. However, a new court date was not set.
The exact address and time of arrest were not provided by police.
There was no record of Reed in the county jail system, nor in the state court system.
A teenage girl was arrested with the suspect but was released to a parent, Davis wrote in news release.
The 17-year-old girl's name was withheld because of her age, police said.
