Law Enforcement Activity in Cherry Valley Was for Death Investigation

Deputies and a coroner's investigator responded to a death Thursday in the area of Cherry Valley Lakes RV Campground, a sheriff's department spokesman said Saturday.
There was no indication of foul play, Deputy Albert Martinez said.
Beaumont police responded to the initial call about 3 p.m., Martinez said. Deputies and a coroner's investigator remained at the scene until about 9 p.m., Martinez said.

Cherry Valley Lakes RV Campground is at 36805 Brookside Ave., just east of the Brookside interchange with I-10.
