Interested in Becoming a Sheriff's Dispatcher? Job Fair Planned in May

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is announcing the 2014 Dispatch Open House & Job Fair to be held at the Palm Desert Dispatch Center located at 73-520 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert on Saturday, May 3, 2014. 

Presentations will begin at the top of each hour beginning at 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.

The purpose of this Open House and Job Fair is to give interested applicants the opportunity to tour the dispatch center and discover the rewarding career opportunities of a 911 Sheriff’s Communications Officer and other support staff for the Sheriff’s Department.  

Recruiters will be on site to provide information regarding desert area job opportunities with the department.   Positions available are Deputy Sheriff Trainee, Correctional Deputy, 911 Sheriff’s Communication Officer, and classified positions, such as Accounting Assistants, Office Assistants, and other clerical support positions.
