Indio Woman Found Dead in Car Next to I-10 in East Cabazon
The victim was found deceased in a compact car early Tuesday off Railroad Avenue about two miles east of Main Street in Cabazon, according to coroner's officials.
A 54-year-old Indio woman was found dead early Tuesday in a compact car next to Interstate 10 in east Cabazon, according to the Riverside County coroner.
Carmi Alcoriza was driving the car on I-10 and for unknown reasons the car drifted off the interstate and landed on the lower road, according to a coroner's report.
The vehicle overturned. Alcoriza was not ejected.

She was declared deceased at 1:05 a.m., but the time of her injury was unknown, according to the coroner.
The California Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
