Highland Authorities Ask for Help in Finding Cell Store Robber

Sheriff's investigators are looking for a gunman who robbed a Highland cell phone store.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public's help in identifying and finding a robber who targeted an AT&T store in Highland late last month.

The robbery was reported at 8:10 p.m. Dec. 30. According to investigators, the robber walked into the AT&T phone store on Greenspot Road in Highland carrying a semi-automatic handgun.

He reportedly ordered all the customers and employees into a back office where he ordered two employees to place all the smart phones, iPads, and tablets into two large bags, investigators said.

The gunman emptied the cash registers and fled with money and the bags of stolen items, officials said. It is unknown if the suspect was on foot or in a vehicle.

Investigators urged anyone with any info on the suspect to call Detective Donald Patton (909) 425-9793 Ext. 246.
