Hemet Woman's Death Being Investigated as Murder

The death of a Hemet woman whose body was found over the weekend was being investigated as a homicide, it was reported Sunday.

Dispatchers received a call at 6:52 p.m. Saturday and sent officers to an undisclosed location in the 200 block of South Lyon Avenue, where the body was found. 

The name of the 47-year-old woman was not released pending notification of relatives, the Riverside County Coroner's Office reported.

It was unclear why the woman died, but the Hemet Police Department was investigating her death as a homicide, according to the "Press-Enterprise."
