Family of Three Displaced in Beaumont Fire

The fire was reported around 9:40 a.m. at a local housing complex.

One adult and two children were displaced Monday morning, after a fire broke out in their Beaumont home, fire officials report.

The fire was reported at 9:41 a.m. in the 700 Block of Allegheny Avenue, according to Riverside County Fire Department Spokesman Mark Annas.

The blaze, which was at an apartment complex just south of 8th Street, was contained to a dryer unit-- but did enough damage to the apartment for it to be deemed uninhabitable, according to Annas.

No one was hurt in the fire.
