UPDATE: Missing Woman Found Safe

Update 11:55 a.m. An 83-year-old woman who suffers from dementia and walked away from a senior center in Moreno Valley was located about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday and she was in good health, according to the Sheriff's Department.

Posted 8:50 p.m. A woman who suffers from dementia walked away from a senior center in Moreno Valley on Wednesday and law enforcement personnel were seeking help locating her.

Nina Rea Allen, 83, of Moreno Valley was reported missing at 5 p.m. Dec. 12, Sgt. Joey Nardone of the sheriff's Moreno Valley Station said in a statement.

Allen walked away from the Moreno Valley Senior Center in the 25000 block of Fir Avenue, Nardone said.

"Ms. Allen is described an African American female adult, 5’06” and 130 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes," Nardone said. "She was last seen wearing a blue and white striped V-neck sweater, gray sweat pants and blue denim sneakers.  Ms. Allen suffers from dementia and is not familiar with the Moreno Valley area."

Anyone with info about Allen's whereabouts was urged to call Officer Mills or Officer Alvarado at (951) 486-6700.
