Cause of Residential Fire That Displaced Two in Cabazon Being Investigated

The fire was reported at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday in a double-wide mobile home in the 52000 block of Lois Avenue in southeast Cabazon, according to Cal Fire.

A double-wide mobile home was damaged by fire Wednesday evening, displacing two adults, and the cause was being investigated, Cal fire officials said Thursday.

The fire was reported at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday in the 52000 block of Lois Avenue, just east of Elm Street in southeast Cabazon, according to Cal Fire.

The first-arriving engine company reported "a double-wide well-involved with fire," Jody Hagemann of Cal Fire-Riverside County said. Power lines were down at the scene.

The fire was reported contained at 8:09 p.m. No injuries were reported. Two adults were displaced due to fire damage, Hagemann said.

The American Red Cross, Southern California Edison and the Southern California Gas Company also responded to the fire.
