Calimesa Boy, 16, Accused of Sex Acts with Youngsters, Faces Trial as Adult

Isaiah Javon Gholston is accused by victims he knew, according to court records and the District Attorney's Office.

A 16-year-old Calimesa boy is accused of six felonies involving sexual acts with two children who knew him, according to court records and the District Attorney's Office.

Isaiah Javon Gholston was charged in a complaint filed last week in Riverside with sexual penetration and sodomy by force on a girl. She was under age 14, and seven or more years younger than the defendant.

Gohlston was also charged with performing lewd and lascivious acts on the girl and on a boy under age 14, according to the felony juvenile complaint filed Jan. 26.

The alleged crimes occurred between May 2009 and November 2011, according to the complaint.

Gohlston will be tried as an adult, and his arraignment is scheduled Feb. 7 in Riverside. He was named in the complaint because he is being charged as an adult.

Calimesa police, contracted with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, investigated the accusations.
