Armed Robbery Reported in Idyllwild
The suspect was described as a white male, 6 feet, 180 pounds, wearing a long tan coat, brown T-shirt, blue jeans, with a red scarf and red bandana covering his face, and brandishing a weapon, a sheriff's corporal said.
An armed robbery was reported Sunday night at a business in Idyllwild, according to the Sheriff's Department.
The robbery was reported at 11:31 p.m. Sunday in the 26000 block of Highway 243, in Idyllwild, Cpl. Rafael Victorio of the sheriff's Hemet Station said in a statement.
"The investigation revealed a white male (6 Ft./180 Lbs.), wearing a long tan coat, brown t-shirt, blue jeans with a red scarf and red bandana covering his face, entered the business, brandished a weapon and demanded money," Victorio said. "The suspect fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of money before deputies arrived."

No employees were injured, Victorio said.
