2 Burglary Reports at Habitat for Humanity Office Next to Beaumont Presbyterian

The first break-in was reported before 5 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Scott Mason said. Police responded and left before 6 a.m., and the second break-in was reported about 8 a.m., Mason said.

The Habitat for Humanity office next to Beaumont Presbyterian Church was burglarized twice Wednesday morning, and someone made off with a laptop and a projector, Pastor Scott Mason said.

Beaumont police responded to an alarm about 4:45 a.m. at 738 Euclid Ave., Beaumont police Chief Frank Coe said. Someone gained entry to the home but it was unknown what property was taken, Coe said.

"A responsible party arrived and was going to inventory and advise," Coe said in an email.

The first break-in was reported before 5 a.m. Sept. 26, Pastor Scott Mason said in an interview at the church. Police responded and left before 6 a.m., and the second break-in was reported about 8 a.m., Mason said.

It was after the second break-in the missing laptop and projector were noticed, Mason said.

The San Gorgonio Pass Area Habit for Humanity office is on the north side of Beaumont Presbyterian Church grounds in a residential neighborhood.
