Disturbing a Public Meeting
From the Record Gazette, 5-16-14
To the Editor,
I recently watched the city council meeting (Banning) and was distressed to note the mayor did not have the placards defending Mr. Burk removed from the room. The statement being made was obvious but disturbed the meeting. If indeed Mr. Burk deserves investigation, then it should be done in a democratic way, and not by such tactics of defense.

Mr. Miller was right in defending himself and also for calling for a thorough and considerable check of activities.
P.S. Mr. Robinson was out of order and should have been called for it.
