Beaumont Police Department

So disappointed. We had a maniac driving extremely reckless at 8:30 am this morning on 4th and Veile Avenue in Beaumont. He stayed in the area for at least 20 minutes driving extremely fast up and down the street and doing donuts. I called the police within minutes that it started because he was very close to our cars. The police showed up when it was over and didn't act like it was any big deal. There was smoke from the car brakes still in the air and there clearly at least 50 black donut marks on the street. There was tons of witnesses. The dispatcher never even called me back to get the info on the vehicle. My husband followed the car to the freeway, where the person got the 60 freeway and headed west. For The Beaumont Police Department sake I'm glad no one got hurt.
