A 57-year-old local man died after suffering fatal injuries in a motorcycle crash, coroner's officials reported Wednesday.
The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday on Oak Glen Road, about a quarter mile north of Wildwood Canyon Road in Yucaipa, according to Riverside County coroner's reports.
Joseph Hodel, who lived in Cherry Valley, lost control of his motorcycle for unknown reasons and crashed off the side of the road, reports indicated.
He was taken to San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning, where he died a short time later. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is investigating the collision.
