The coldest air-mass since 1990 is going to move over the area starting tonight, peaking on Friday night into the weekend. Many areas will see freeze conditions, which is temperatures that of 25-31F.

Popcorn snow was reported for 10 minutes in Banning this afternoon.  This was very short-lived, but the real story is the freeze conditions coming.

The coldest air-mass since 1990 is going to move over the area starting tonight, peaking on Friday night into the weekend. Many areas will see freeze conditions, which is temperatures that of 25-31F.

This expires on Monday after a re-evaluation of the atmosphere, however the lower heights start to climb on Monday night and this will warm some spots up and by warm I don't mean a major warm-up ... just above this product's possible reason.

Black Ice will accompany all roadways, and is a killer to many people each year so take warning.

Please also bring your pets inside.
