The 21st annual Spark of Love Toy Drive is under way and Cal Fire officials say gifts for the needy can be dropped off at local fire stations.
Cal Fire-Riverside County is partnering with all Southern California fire departments for the toy drive, which runs through Dec. 20.
"We encourage and appreciate those who wish to participate to bring an unwrapped toy or sports equipment to your nearest Riverside County Fire Station," Cal Fire officials said in an announcement.
"These toys are sorted by firefighters and disseminated throughout their communities by working with churches, schools and local non-profit community groups that have identified and screened families in need."
