Beaumont's July 4 'Pyro Spectacular,' Free Concert Series Expected to Draw Thousands

The city's annual Fourth of July event at Stewart Park is free for all. Remember, there will be some road closures in the area.

The city of Beaumont is again hosting their popular Independence Day community celebration, and thousands are expected to pack Stewart Park for the free event.

Though the fireworks portion-- scheduled to start at 9 p.m.-- is surely a sight to see, there's also a day full of events you may want to check out.

Beginning at 10 a.m., the city will celebrate Independence Day with the dedication of the new Public Safety Memorial in front of Beaumont Civic Center.

After that, at noon, the public pool located at 985 Maple, is open for just $1 admission until 8 p.m.

What's more-- the Summer Concert Series officially kicks off at 5 p.m. with the Basix performing in Stewart Park, followed by a 7:30 p.m. performance from the Little River Band.  Meanwhile, while the concerts are going on, you can also check out Market Night, located on 10th Street and Orange Avenue.

For those who don't want to deal with the local traffic, you can park your vehicle at Walmart or the Beaumont Sports Park and ride a free shuttle over to Stewart Park.

Viewing areas

  • Stewart Park, located on Maple Avenue between 9th Street and 11th Street
  • Bleachers on 9th Street
  • BBQs allowed in north park (between 10th Street and 11th Street) and skate park only

Free Transportation to Stewart Park
  • Pickup at Wal-Mart bus shelters and the Sports Park
  • Operating every 15 minutes between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
  • Shuttle will not operate during the fireworks show
  • Ride the free shuttle and receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a $25.00 Wal-Mart gift card

  • 10th Street - between Orange Avenue & Maple Avenue
  • 11th Street - between Orange Avenue and Maple Avenue
  • Orange Avenue - between 8th Street and 11th Street
