Time Warner Cable  recognized the finalists and named the top three winners of the 2014 Best Moms contest during an awards luncheon at the Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells on Saturday, May 10th.

The annual contest, now in its 11th year, provides local children the opportunity to celebrate the qualities that make their moms special, earning the families’ well-deserved appreciation for Mother’s Day.

Of the hundreds of entries, judges selected the top winner from each school level. This year’s Best Moms were Melissa Moll, whose daughter Savannah attends Gerald Ford Elementary, Alby Jaimes, whose son Julio attends James Workman Middle School and Jeanette Jaime, whose daughter Dezarae Porcho attends Mt. San Jacinto High School.

Time Warner Cable’s Best Moms Contest invited Coachella Valley and surrounding area students in grades 4-12 to share their stories by submitting an essay or short video on what makes their mom the “Best Mom.”  Entries were submitted by students to the Best Moms website, www.TWCBestMoms.com which provided all contest details.
