By 3 p.m. the fire and separate spot fires were reported contained, according to Cal Fire.

The freeways were open in all directions as of 3:45 p.m. There was a closure reported Glen Helen Road and Gelen Helen Parkway just south of the 15-215 interchange, according to the CHP.

A train was stuck at Glen Helen as of 2:46 p.m., according to the CHP.
