UPDATE: Storm Activity Continues Over NW Pass

Update 5:40 p.m. Flash flooding remained likely in and downstream of the Forest Falls area north of the San Gorgonio Pass, National Weather Service forecasters advised before 6 p.m.

"Fire rescue officials reported portions of Valley Falls Drive being closed due to waters from Clarks Creek and Prospect Creek flowing over the road," the Weather Service stated in a flash flood warning update.

Radar estimates indicated 3 to 5 inches of rainfall over the Forest Falls-Mill Creek Canyon area.

"Heavy flows and debris are likely to continue through Mill Creek as heavy rains continue to run-off from the mountain slopes," the Weather Service advised.
