Banning Stagecoach Days Parade: Evoking Old West in San Gorgonio Pass

The Banning Stagecoach Days Parade drew hundreds Saturday morning to downtown and West Ramsey Street.

The 54th Annual Stagecoach Days parade started Saturday morning at the Banning Civic Center on Ramsey Street and continued west to 22nd Street.

Marching bands from Banning, Beaumont and Hemet West Valley high schools included flag and cheer teams.

Mt. San Jacinto College cheer team was followed with their Eagle mascot riding in convertible.

Equestrian groups were outnumbered by antique fire engines loaded with sponsors and honored military veterans. Habitat for Humanity featured house framing on float with John Wayne cutout.

New to the parade this year was Harley, a mini-horse, with the Giddy Up Gals from Wildomar. Wearing jean overalls and straw hat, Harley drew many laughs from young parade watchers.
