Get Out: Five Ideas for Your Weekend

Great music, fast bikes and the Wild, Wild West rule this weekend.

It's Friday once more and time to make those weekend plans. There are some great opportunities to cheer on your neighbors this weekend whether they are acting their hearts out, singing on stage or zipping by on a bicycle. Check out our picks for this weekend's best events. Don't forget to call ahead as some events change at the last minute.

Why Go: Cheer on our talented local youth as they sing, dance and entertain during dinner.

Why Go: Folks have been saving treasures all year for this fun sell. Proceeds benefit Banning High School student scholarships.

Why Go: Wear your Western wear to this great Wild West play featuring Calamity Jane, Wild Bill Hickock and a cast of saloon girls, villains and more. Enjoy a BBQ dinner to boot. This event is also a generous fundraiser for Help Inc. and Operation Kidz Komfort.

Pricing: $25, includes dinner

When/Where: 8:30 p.m. this Tuesday at the Brandin' Iron Saloon & Dance Hall, 320 S E St, San Bernardino

Why Go: Okay, technically this isn’t a weekend event, but we don’t want you to miss it. The hot band behind the country hit Wildflower will perform live. Doors open at 6 p.m. in case you want to dance before the show.
