Get Out: Five Ideas For Your Weekend

Steak, golf and helping out: all of Dad's favorites are on deck this weekend.

Regarding fathers, Mark Twain once said, “When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished by how much he'd learned in seven years.”

Dads certainly do endure a lot over the years - slammed doors, dented cars, phone calls from the principal - Father's Day is a nice chance to say thanks for all they have weathered. Maybe you can do so this weekend by treating the father figure in your life to a special brunch or a rocking concert for a great cause. Don't foget that Family Feud auditions are also in town in case your family has always wanted to go for it.

Our goal is to make the Get Out planner as reliable as possible, but keep in mind, some events change at the last minute. We advise calling ahead just in case.
