Dollar General Theft Suspect Sought

Police in San Jacinto are looking for a man accused of grabbing cash and running from the Dollar General store-- after getting into a fight with the store's clerk, police said.

A man who robbed a Dollar General store in San Jacinto was at large Tuesday.

The robber entered the store in the 700 block of North San Jacinto Avenue around 8:20 p.m. Monday and took money from the cash register, said Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Rose McKinney.

"The suspect fought with the clerk, then fled on food with an undisclosed amount of money," she said.

No injuries were reported.
