Commuter Alert: I-10 Closures Rescheduled for This Week for Banning, Cabazon

The work was originally scheduled for the week of May 7, but was delayed due to contractor staffing issues.

If your drive takes you via Interstate 10 in Banning or Cabazon at all this week, be prepared to face some closures along the way.

The closures, which will all happen between the hours of 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., will affect both westbound traffic between Highway 111 and Pennsylvania Ave. and eastbound traffic between Hargrave Street and Pennsylvania Ave., according to a Caltrans commuter alert.

Slab replacement work will have crews shutting down alternating lanes of traffic throughout the week, along with on and off ramps in the above listed area.
