Fire Museum-Learning Center Proposal Discussed at Noble Creek Park

Representatives of the Beaumont city council, an associate city planner, and the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District met Thursday with Doug Hammer and Monte Hammer of and Fire Memories, Inc. at Noble Creek Park.

A potential fire museum and learning center was discussed at a meeting Thursday evening at Noble Creek Community Center.

Representatives of the Beaumont city council, an associate city planner, and the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District met with Doug Hammer and Monte Hammer of and Fire Memories, Inc.

The Hammers assured the attendees the center would be self-sustaining. They hope a facility at Noble Creek Park can be a permanent home for their collection of fire engines and other memorabilia.

The next meeting for the Noble Creek Fire Museum-Learning Center proposal will be Thursday, Oct. 20.
