The Christmas Spirit in Redlands

An over the top display on a shoe string budget.

Paul Blight's "Blight's B-Lighted Christmas" expresses some of the most Christmas spirit around. Paul has created an over the top display at his home at 320 W Western Ave in Redlands, Ca. Paul's home is not special by the number of twinkling little lights, but by his dedication to the Christmas spirit and his community. Paul works 363 days a year on his display, taking only Christmas Day off to be with his family. Paul is not a man of means by no means, he works as an assistant manager at a fast food chain. He has created his display on a shoe string budget. He saved for months to purchase just one computerized light controller. Many of his light strings are recycled from garage sales and thrift stores, or donations. Paul also volunteers many hours at his church to help his community. Paul was recently featured on NBC LA by Fritz Coleman on Fritz's Holiday Lights. His hard work was validated again to be featured as one of the best on the half hour show "The Best of Fritz's Holiday Light". Please take the time to visit his home. The Christmas spirit runs deep in Paul's soul. A very Merry Christmas to the Blight family.
