Beaumont Christmas Lights Opening Night With Live Performance by Grammy Nominee Judy Pancoast November 29 7:00 pm

Please bring your children and family. This will be a very fun event for all residents of the Pass.

This is a very special event. Many of my friends viewed my first attempt at Christmas Decorating my home at 49 California Ave. last year.

One of my favorite songs during the show was "The House On Christmas Street" by Judy Pancoast. Judy has done a little rewriting of her song to become "The House on California Street". Judy will be singing her song live. She will also be performing other original Christmas songs.

Judy Pancoast lives in the New England area of the US. She is doing a special concert tour of special Christmas Decorated homes across America. Other than Beaumont, her only other Southern California stop will be in Cathedral City.

Judy is an accomplished musical artist and was nominated recently for a Grammy Award. To learn more about Judy Pancoast visit www.judypancoast.com.

After the show, Judy's CDs will be available for sale, and autographs and photo ops. We are also trying to obtain a Santa Claus.

This is a very free event for everyone. We welcome everyone. Refreshments will be served by the Beaumont Cherry Valley Interact Club. Donations will be appreciated, and all proceeds will be given to the Interact Club and the Beaumont Cherry Valley Rotary Club Foundation's support of RYLA. (RYLA is an unique 3 day program for high school juniors to help guide and inspire them to become involved in their community.)

Viewing will be done from a newly installed walkway in front of my home. There will also be a VIP section with seating. A donation of $20 for the VIP seating will be appreciated for the support of the youth groups. I receive no compensation whatsoever. All donations will be paid directly to representatives of the Interact Club and the Foundation. Your support is appreciated.

Youth is the future of our community. In addition to the 12 Christmas Songs from last year, 10 more songs have been added this year. Opening night is a special event for me. I am not a professional, and this is my first opening night, I will do my best, but don't expect perfection.

I love the Christmas season. Not only is it the time we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, it is a time to celebrate and enjoy our lives. The joy and smile of a child is priceless, but also very very precious. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season. I hope you enjoy my humble attempt to add just a little holiday season cheer and a small smile on a child's face.

Please RSVP, especially if you would like VIP seating for a $20 donation. We would like to be as prepared as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

Join us for the March! We will have picket signs that clearly state our different perspectives. WeRead More will have brochures that explain the cause. Distributing fliers before the march is a HUGE part of this. Please tell your neighbors about this... www.march-against-monsanto.com

I personally don't have too much control over the way the site looks and functions, since it's partRead More of Patch overall. However, I am forwarding all your suggestions on to our design team and appreciate all the feedback-- positive and negative! And Jeremiah, I've asked around about the FB commenting thing some more, and there really are no plans to do away with our Patch logins. The FB comments are just meant to be a "plus" for those who want them... and others don't have to touch :)

100% agree with that! Plus I liked the way that in the old one you could reply to an individualRead More comment. This one only lets you post at the end of the thread. Pretty sure she has started using the Facebook comments program, which by itself will keep me from posting. If the old one doesn't come back I will most likely be saying sayonara. I pretty much like everything else, but this was the real draw of the Patch and it's strong point - especially during the fire. Advertisement pane is about 10% too large as well and should be on the other side of the page to look right. Renee is trying though, which is appreciated. I just hope she listens about the comments section. Jeremiah
