Nov. 6... get here quick!

More reasons to vote on Nov. 6

Has everybody seen the official White House photo of President Obama seated with other world leaders at the summet going on this weekend at Camp David? There are four giant photos on the wall, all of them of President Obama, one with the new socialist leader of France.

Remember when he visited England and met with the Queen for the first time? What was his gift to her? DVDs and CDs of speeches he had given. Add that to the American flag with his photo replacing the stars, his "open mike"comment to a Russian leader telling the Russian to tell Putin that wait until after he is re-elected he will be more "flexible."

We have never had a greater ego in the White House, especially one so sadly lacking in portfolio. I wonder if he even has his mirror programmed to say "you, Mr. President" when he gets up in the morning and says "mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the greatest of them all." Remember one of the first things he did after moving into the White House was sending back a bust of Churchill that the English had given us. He returned a gift -- bad enough manners -- but of a world hero during World War II and, by the way, this great man, Churchill, had an American mother.

Remember when he bowed, in respect and following protocol, when he met the Saudi Arabia leader, but when he was first introduced to the Queen of England, did he give her a brief bow of respect, and to follow protocol? No, he patted her on the back.

Please, let this nightmare come to an end next January when an American who is proud to be an American and one who we can be proud to display to the World as our President, moves into the White House. President Mitt Romney! Sounds better every day.

Jeez, Ferrell, you now earn capital letters. I've been standing on my head trying to spread the word about Romney. Where's your picture?
David Rempel May 20, 2012 at 01:42 PM
A plus for Romney, he would behave better. The negative is he wouldn't govern much differently, and that just further degrades the Republican label. The only candidate who is truly conservative, who truly believes in civila dn financial liberty, who truly believes in America first and not as a "big Brother" for either Isreal or the UN is RON PAUL!

"we have never had a greater ego in the whitehouse" really charles?? Just say what you really think "we've never had a black man in the whitehouse and you don't like it"!!

Old men who dye their hair and openly promote bigotry...Big talk about egos from such a little man!!

Steve I too believe he has a big ego...he has shown this side of himself numerous times.

Seen at the Redlands street fair on Thursday evening: one Republican party booth; one Tea Party booth; one Ron Paul booth, Republicans are now so fragmented that it's just sad. Let's take all the moderate Republicans and moderate Democrats and create a new political party, maybe call it the American party and use an eagle (better than a donkey or elephant).

I think we should do away with all parties also the Electorial College. We should be electing presidents by the popular vote! The parties are obsolete. We should go back to one man/woman one vote!
Damchi May 21, 2012 at 02:22 PM
John for President; Ken for VP! These guys are the only people in the media that are fighting for the average Joe.

As an Independant my vote is for Romney. His VP choice is critical to retain my vote and probably critical for his chances at the Presidency. I hope he does not pick a social conservative, another Palin and my vote will have to go elsewhere.

I agree with Ellen

Did everybody else hear President Obama use the term "My White House" in a statement the other day regarding security leaks? "My White House???" I was taken aback by that statement. Last time I checked it is the "People's" White House... Our White House, the American People's White House. The President, any President, all U.S. Presidents since Adams (the first Presidential resident of what we now call the White House) are mere temporary residents of this People's White House. How temporary in this case will be determined by the voters in November.

Thanks Chuck for pointing that comment out. You have changed my current "undecided" vote to Romney. Not! My vote will not be determined by "he said, she said" comments- look at all idiotic comments Romney has made, yet I have not ruled him out from my vote. It will come down to the lesser if two evils again. Scott Walker for Prez 2016!
Charles Ferrell June 10, 2012 at 11:06 PM
Damchi is like a lot of people and a lot like so many Ron Paul supporters (I don't know if he is one or not, but it doesn't matter in this case) in that they wish there had been another Republican candidate than Mitt Romney. However, when it comes to push and/or shove, those like Damchi will most likely turn to Romney, rather than keep President Obama in office for another four years. Even Ron Paul has stated that Romney would make a better President than the current one. The perfect candidate is a goal that cannot be reached. At least with Romney, we know we can and will do better. Besides, anyone with the common sense to be a supporter of Scott Walker (in my opinion he would be a better candidate in 2020 as President Romney winds up his eight years in the White House) will certainly not support another four years of President Obama.
Damchi June 13, 2012 at 03:17 PM
Actually, Chuck, I am leaning toward a vote for Ron Paul because there is no chance of Romney winning California. If the election were to be decided on the popular vote, than my reluctant vote would be for the lesser of two evils (Romney).
Charles Ferrell June 13, 2012 at 04:04 PM
I don't know who this "Chuck" is you mention, but I kind of had an idea you were a Ron Paul supporter. If you are refering to me as "Chuck" you certainly don't know me or anything about me (I'm sure you don't care about using good manners and calling people by the names they choose to go by) because I have not now nor ever gone by "Chuck". However, despite your lack of respect for me, I give you the respect of being someone somewhat removed from the Ron Paul Fan Club by understanding, like Ron Paul himself, that Romney would be a better choice than the current office holder in the White House. Bottom line is that a vote for Ron Paul will mean a vote for President Obama.
