It's St. Patrick's Day and you know what that means. Okay, so you might not know what a holiday named after the guy who drove the snakes out of Ireland has to do with Guinness and shepherd's pie, but there are plenty local establishments that would love for you to come trade your hard-earned greenbacks for their inviting green beer. If there was ever a holiday that screamed, "Cut loose and be merry," it's this one.

: This country western-themed gastropub in the center of downtown Banning features a cheap beer selection, several pool tables and an eclectic menu. If you wait until the weekend to celebrate the holiday, there are drink specials all day and live music at night come Sundays, featuring $3.50 Bloody Marys and 20 oz. domestic drafts and $1 PBRs at night.
: Located behind , Sandtrap features an extensive microbrew selection, a celebrated menu and all the NCAA Tournament basketball games you seek on several big screens. Their St. Patty's Day celebration features food and drink specials (including green beer) all day as well as a live DJ set from nine to midnight. Sandtrap also regularly features a happy hour from Monday through Thursday with $2.50 domestic beers and well drinks, $2 off appetizers and $2.50 Bloody Mary's on Sundays from 10-2 pm.
: If you want to have fun Thursday but don't like Irish food, this family-owned Mexican restaurant at 909 E. 6th St. in Beaumont features tacos, enchiladas, fish tacos and other authentic Mexican dishes along with a hearty selection of cheap beers.
