Disney Store, Alexander McQueen Among New Outlets Opening in Cabazon This Week
Forty of 50 new stores at Desert Hills Premium Outlets are scheduled to open Thursday, April 24, while the other 10 will open by summer, according to reports.
Outlet shopping in the Pass is about to get even better.
That's because dozens of new stores are set to open their doors this week, when the Desert Hills Premium Outlets holds their "expansion celebration" Thursday.
After pouring in an estimated $100 million into the project, the outlet center along I-10 in Cabazon will open up a whole new era of outlet shopping to the public.
"For the first time in north America - Alexander McQueen, Helmut Lang, Belstaff, Frette, MaxMara and many many more," Liz Perkovich of Desert Hills Premium Outlets told KESQ-TV.
Others outlets coming to the center include: The Disney Store, Anne Fontaine, Calypso Au Marche and Ted Baker London.
Perkovich told KESQ that 40 of 50 new stores are opening with the expansion celebration, and that the other 10 will open by summer.
In November, a new parking structure opened that's the size of three football fields, the representative said.
The expansion celebration runs from Thursday through Sunday, and features live entertainment throughout, along some deals at several of the stores. Click here for the brochure detailing the specials.
