"With nearly 13 million Americans still unemployed - and many of them struggling to make ends meet - passage of the JOBS Act offers hope for the future. It will help to create new jobs, stimulate the U.S. economy and boost prosperity. This is a huge victory for American workers and small businesses, in particular.

"Supported by President Obama, I strongly urge the Senate to immediately take up this critically important legislation and pass it without delay. After nearly three years of the unemployment rate at 8 percent or higher - the longest such stretch since the Great Depression - out-of-work Americans are counting on this help, and we must not let them down."
