Rain, thunder and lightning are being experienced throughout the Pass area.
A severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern San Bernardino and Northwestern Riverside Counties has been in effect and a flash flood warning is in effect until for much of the region until 4:30 p.m..
The National Weather Service says the storm is capable of producing quarter size hail and winds in excess of 60 miles per hour. Heavy rains could result in flooding along roads and low lying areas, says the NWS.
There is also the slight possibility of a tornado developing between Redlands and Moreno Valley, southwest of the Pass area, according to the NWS.
