San Gorgonio Ballet Co. Readies for 10th Anniversary Performance

The following was submitted for publication by the San Gorgonio Ballet Company: 

San Gorgonio Ballet Company Founded in 2003 will be celebrating their Tenth Anniversary with a Gala Performance to be held at the Annenberg Theater in Palm Springs, on Saturday, June 1.

The Ballet Company, founded by ballerina Julia Olsen-Rodriguez will be performing an amazing line up including professional dancers, advanced dancers from the San Gorgonio Ballet Junior Company along with talented young students from the school, and adults playing in pantomime roles.

Scenes from the company's professional repertoire such as "The Red Shoes", Remember Charlie", Giselle, and a tribute to Austrian composer Leon Minkus.

There will be several new pieces performed  as well as several guest appearances by local singing celebrates that have extensive careers on stage screen and television. All together promises an exciting and memorable experience for audiences both young and old. 

San Gorgonio Ballet Company is a self supporting 501 C 3 Nonprofit Organization that is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of the classical dances to all regardless of financial need. Proceeds from the performances go directly to the company and is used for future productions and for scholarships for talented young dance students that have financial need.
