County star Leann Rimes took to the stage in Beaumont Wednesday night, as thousands of people filled Stewart Park.
City officials tell Banning-Beaumont Patch they estimate more than 20,000 people were in attendance. Â That would make it one of the largest shows in the series' history.
People who secured a spot in the front row told Patch they got there as early as 2:45 a.m. to see Rimes perform.  Some were there just for Rimes, but others who dub themselves the "front row crew" say they do this on a weekly basis for each act in the concert series.
Check out the photos above of Rimes' performance.
Beaumont's Summer Concert Series will continue next week. Â These are the remaining shows for 2013:
- July 31st - Berlin and A Flock of Seagulls
- August 7th - Rude Boy
The concerts are paid out of the city's general fund. Â $250,000 was allocated for the shows this year.
