Kristen Wiig Filming Movie in Banning, Check Out Set Photos

The star was in town Tuesday and Wednesday to shoot some scenes for her latest movie, titled Welcome to Me.

Actress Kristen Wiig was in Banning Wednesday, as she filmed scenes for her upcoming movie Welcome to Me.

Wiig, best known for her Saturday Night Live and Bridesmaids roles, was wearing a bright orange dress with a purple fanny pack as she shot a scene in which she walks down Martin Street, across Ramsey Street, and into Logan's Liquor store.

Though Banning-Beaumont Patch was able to capture photos from the set, producers request that we hold off on showing photos of the actress until a later date.

The actress and about 85 crew members were also in town Tuesday, when they shot additional scenes at the Stagecoach Inn.

Wednesday's shoot was scheduled to wrap around 3 p.m., at which time cast and crew were slated to head back to the Los Angeles area.

Production crew tells Patch that Wiig stayed in town at the Hampton Inn with crew.

Welcome to Me focuses on a woman with a "borderline personality disorder" who strikes it big with a lottery win and buys her own television show.  Wednesday's scene in Banning focuses on the purchase of said ticket.
