Snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches were possible above 4,500 feet elevation.

Winds of 20 miles per hour to 30 mph were expected, with gusts to 50 mph possible, according to the Weather Service.

Blowing snow and fog could reduce visibilities in the mountains. In addition, ice on roads at higher elevations could increase driving hazards.
