Members of a youth group were getting ready Thursday afternoon for Walking Dead Night at Oak Valley Church in Calimesa.
They were in Banning the afternoon of Oct. 10 in makeup that included black contact lenses, and do-it-yourself suggestions they got from a YouTube tutorial, they said.
"We're just having like an October fun night," one of the young women said. "Anybody can come."
The theme for Walking Dead Night stemmed in part from a topic their pastor was planning to address.
