TRAFFIC ALERT: Interstate 10 Closures Planned From Calimesa to Banning

The closures will begin at 9 p.m. Sunday and continue every night through Thursday, with all lanes reopening at 5 a.m. each day, according to Caltrans.

Nightly lane closures are planned next week on Interstate 10 between Banning and Calimesa so that crews can fill potholes and make other repairs.

Only the westbound side of the freeway will be affected, officials said, adding that two lanes of the freeway will remain open at all times.

Lanes will be shut down for about 12 miles, beginning near Malki Road in Banning and ending at County Line Road in Calimesa.
