Thunderstorms Likely in Riverside County Thursday, But What About the Holiday Weekend?

Showers and a few thunderstorms were likely throughout much of Riverside County Thursday, meteorologists said.

"A low pressure trough will move from Nevada into Southern California today," according to the National Weather Service. "This will bring showers and few thunderstorms mainly to the mountains and deserts, but also to the inland valleys."

Highs Thursday were expected to be 72 to 77 degrees in the Inland Empire, 66 to 76 in the mountains and 85 to 90 in the Coachella Valley.
