It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Banning and Beaumont areas!
Many events have already taken place-- but there is still plenty more to come. Perhaps one of the largest of them all is the annual Christmas Light Parade in Beaumont, to be held this Saturday.
This year, the parade will celebrate its sweet 16th birthday in town.
Last year, a city lawn mower, golf carts, pickup trucks, a public transit bus, a trolley bus, floats, police vehicles and fire engines were all decked out in holiday lights. See some photos above, and check out the entire gallery from 2011's parade here.

- Holiday Craft Fair by the Beaumont Senior Center: When: Dec. 15. Where: Beaumont Civic Center, 550 E. 6th St. Hours: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Christmas Light Parade: A hometown holiday parade featuring floats, marching bands and old-time fire engines. Parade ends with hot chocolate and caroling at the Beaumont Civic Center, 550 E. 6th. St. When: Dec. 15. Where: Palm Avenue and 12th Street. Start time: 6 p.m.
- Christmas Tree Lane Raffle: A raffle fundraiser for the Beaumont Charitable Foundation. Christmas trees with restaurant gift certificates, athletic equipment, and electronic gadgets will be raffled off. When: Dec. 15. Where: Beaumont Civic Center, 550 E. 6th St. Time: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
