Due to flooding in the area, Beaumont officials have closed some area roadways.
The following roads were closed as of 2 p.m. Friday:
- 8th Street, between Palm and Orange
- Maple, between 8th and 9th streets
- 5th Street, east and west of Chestnut Avenue
- Chestnut Avenue, north of 5th Street
