Frost Advisory for Early Christmas for Area Including the San Gorgonio Pass

The advisory for patchy frost in some wind-sheltered areas was from midnight Saturday to 9 a.m. Christmas Day.

Wind-sheltered areas in and near the San Gorgonio Pass could experience frost early Christmas morning, according to the National Weather Service.

"A cool and dry air mass will allow sufficient overnight cooling once again tonight for patch frost to form," the Weather Service advised.

The frost advisory was for midnight Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday.

A wind advisory for an area including the west end of the Pass expired at noon Saturday.
