Flood Advisory For West End of the Pass: Beaumont, Banning, Cabazon

A flood advisory was issued just after 3 p.m. Friday for an area including Beaumont, Banning and Cabazon in the west end of the San Gorgonio Pass.
A line of thunderstorms was moving east and heavier rainfall appeared likely from radar images, according to the National Weather Service.
Normally dry washes and creeks could fill with rapidly rising runoff, especially in watersheds that drain the high ridges flanking the Pass outside Beaumont, Banning and Cabazon, according to the Weather Service.
