93rd Annual Cherry Festival "A Slice of Heaven in 2011"

The Cherry Festival is a fantastic hometown tradition full of community spirit and goodwill. This year, folks can enjoy carnival thrill rides, fun concerts, , a car show, arts and crafts, food vendors, a pancake breakfast and, of course, cherries.

This year's bands include Jam with the Man, a local band including several police officers; Restless Heart, War, Air Supply, the Little River Band, Brenton Wood, and KISS tribute band, Mini Kiss.

This year, the city is offering free shuttle service and parking to and from the event. All shuttle riders receive a coupon for $1 off on the admission price. Shuttles will run every half-hour, with stops located in the Wal-Mart parking lot on 2nd Street and at the Sports Park, located at Brookside and Beaumont Avenues.
