The Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass is holding its 3rd Annual "Quickest Quacker" Duck Derby at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa on Monday.
"This 3rd Annual event proves to be three times the fun as we have set our goal to sell three ties as many ducks and have three times as many guests," said Amy Herr, of the Pass Boys & Girls Clubs, in a press release.
The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at the casino's "Lazy River."
Tickets are $50 and include admission, a light dinner and one duck to race.
Those unable to attend may purchase ducks for $5 a piece, since people don't have to present in order to win. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers.
Proceeds from the event will help provide enriching programs, academic support and mentoring to more than 700 Pass area children who benefit from the club, according to organizers.
